It was a sellout crowd of over 760 people at the Hyatt Hotel in Philadelphia.  It was the 9th consecutive time that VJB had been invited back to perform for the Annual William Penn Award Gala and they did not disappoint. After the ceremony which honored Daniel Hilferty - an American business executive who serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Independence Blue Cross, the crowd rose to their feet and continued to dance to the very last song.

For the 5th consecutive time, the Vincent James Band performed before a sellout crowd at the Westover Country Club last Sunday evening. Hosted by Sam Gambone, this popular attraction is always a blast with the best in live dance entertainment provided by VJB. 

The Vincent James Band performed at this event with there new vocalist Jovan Cheyney. Jovan is known for his unique style that combines elements of R&B, Pop, and Soul.  He's a welcome addition to the already talented lineup of singers and instrumental musicians in the band.

Annual William Penn Award Gala

I'm afraid the annual gala hosted by the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce is already sold out. The Vincent James Band has bee invited back once again to entertain the folks who were lucky enough to get a ticket for this year's bash at the Philadelphia Bellevue Hotel's Grand Ballroom.

This years gala will be honoring Daniel J. Hilferty, President & CEO of Independence Blue Cross.  Congratulations to Mr. Hilferty.

​The Vincent James Band is absolutely incredible!!! Charles was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and his experience and input created an evening that flowed from the ceremony music all the way through to the late-night dance hits! There were no guests sitting for our entire reception except when the band was on break. Countless guests praised the band as the “by far best band” they’ve ever heard. I can’t say enough great things about the Vincent James Band, they are truly a talented group of musicians that have the experience of many weddings under their belt, they know what works and what doesn’t, I would recommend the VJB to any and every one!  ~ Laurel M.

At 750 in attendance, the last party was bigger than anticipated, so this time ticket sales will be limited to 550 to make more room on the dance floor! So if you don't already have your tickets, give Sal Gambone a call soon, as tickets for this event are limited.
