All I can say is WOW. The band was beyond excellent. You said that the band was in a great groove – you were not kidding. After seeing you on several occasions, I was singing your praises, but deep down I was hoping that what I had experienced would translate to this event – I wanted all of the guests to see what I had seen. I had nothing to worry about – not only did you keep everyone up and dancing – I don’t think that there was a time that people sat – even in an extremely hot June night. You made everyone feel so special – people were dancing that never dance, unbelievable. I can’t believe all of the comments and accolades I received about the band!! I’m pretty sure you will end up with a couple of gigs from the wedding. Thank you so much for your professionalism and the absolutely wonderful experience that you provided.

The Vincent James Band traveled to Cherry Hill, New Jersey to play at the prestigious Mansion On Main Street.  The bride and groom studied in Europe and many of the guests traveled from Germany and Austria to attend the wedding of their good friends.  It was an interesting dynamic to see the crowd dancing and enjoying some of the earlier music that was unfamiliar to many of them. 
 
The band had conversations with many of the people who were nearly fluent in English and enjoyed talking about their visit here. Everyone was very friendly and loved to dance, while many of them mentioned how happy and surprised they were to get to hear such a great band on their visit to the U.S.

I could have danced for another hour… or two !! You were fantastic! Everyone raved about you ~ we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t thank you enough. It was a real pleasure to work with you ~ you calmed me down and I was able to relax and really enjoy the party – we had a great time! I would love to have the opportunity to hear you again…..I will check your website to see where you will be playing and hopefully I’ll get that chance. In the meantime, thank you again so much for your part in making Lauren and Justin’s wedding a wonderful experience!

The Vincent James Band is fortunate to perform for so many nice groups of people and this audience was no different. They were a very complimentary and a really great crowd.  VJB can usually tell early on when, when they get lots of applause during the first few songs of the night that a reception will be a lot of fun.  Family members and guests cheered for the band even before the parents and bridal party were introduced, and they responded just as enthusiastically throughout the evening to the last song of the night.  The band appreciated them and their kind words too. ​

From the classical trio to the pianist to the band everything was perfect and Doug and I as well as our friends and family had an amazing time enjoying the music. The families and guests of this couple, though their last names might indicate otherwise, were predominantly people of Italian descent, and many were big fans of Andrea Bocelli.  VJB performed Con Te Partiro to an enthusiastic standing ovation which was humbly appreciated. 

The festivities also included a set by Nick Desiderio, a popular area musician and vocalist who performs Italian favorites with backing tracks on the accordion.  Nick was a highlight of the evening, and the guests sang along and danced to their favorite traditional songs all through his set.

This warm and receptive audience were a pleasure to work with and the Vincent James Band appreciated their gracious accolades and compliments.  It meant so much to the band to speak with them and thank them for taking the time to stop and chat.  It was a night of fun for all!

The Vincent James Band, Philly's number one dance and entertainment band, returned to the stage this weekend at the Pen Ryn Estate to a lively wedding reception crowd that liked music from the 2000s...Brittany Spears, Back Street Boys,  NSync, Spice Girls. And VJB did not disappoint playing all their favorites including their First Dance song, which was  "Your Song" by Elton John. 

Their Married Couples elimination dance results were a couple who were married for 61 years and they danced through a good part of the night as did all the other attendees who had the time of their lives, while VJB supplied the best in musical dance entertainment that anyone could have wanted.
