It was a grand wedding and a classic black-tie affair at the illustrious College of Physicians in Philadelphia. Only the very best in vendors were chosen to host this spectacular wedding and of course, VJB was among them. The wedding was impressive enough to land an article in The Philadelphia Magazine and the Vincent James Band received their due among the top rated vendors listed.

It's not the first time the Vincent James Band has made the A-list in The Philadelphia Magazine and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Old School Dance Party​

The Old School Dance Party at the Westover Country Club in Jefferson, PA was oversold with some 760 tickets bought.  According to Charles Interrante, VJB's band leader, the crowd gave the Vincent James Band an overwhelming response. The band brought a new vocalist to the gig, the talented Jovan Chaney, who received a warm welcome from the all of those lucky enough to get a ticket to the event. From the beginning of the party to the very end, the dance floor was packed with everyone "getting down" to best live dance and party band in the Philadelphia area.

The band hopes do it all again in 2018, so stayed tune for the next chance to see the Vincent James Band live!

​That's right, you can experience one of the Vincent James Band's rare and incredible live public performances this Sunday at the Westover Country Club in Jeffersonville PA. Hosted by Sal Gambone, it's "Old School Dance Party" time November 12th from 4 to 8 PM. Come on out and be prepared to get down and dance to the great music provided by VJB. 

Dear Charles et al.,

After attending the Grand Gala Saturday night and listening to fabulous music with the original cast from the Jersey Boys, now on tour as the Mid-town Men, we were thrilled when we arrived at the Hotel DuPont’s after Party to find none other than the Vincent James Band in the Gold Ballroom! Seemed like old times as you played for our daughters wedding in June ’03 (my comments are posted on your customer feedback page) The place was a buzz with comments about the amazing band performing and who were they etc. I beamed as I bragged that you had MADE our daughters wedding! During conversation, I was overheard by one of the musicians from the Mid-Town men’s show and he asked what I knew about you all, where you were from etc. When I replied Pennsylvania, he couldn’t believe he was from Philadelphia and was unfamiliar with VJB. He thought you were outstanding! I would imagine especially nice to hear from fellow musicians. I tried to make my way to the bandstand area but you were all so busy doing what you do best and I figured it best to reach out by email after the fact. But you really topped off what was a pretty special night and made it a perfect night! So many people asked us about contacting you for their future events. My kids were so jealous that they were not at the event to hear you again!
