On December 17th, 2016 VJB entertained for the wedding reception of Krista Speller at a new venue called ​Material Culture. Located in Philadelphia, Material Culture is an avant garde and eclectic furniture store with cafe and restaurant, that also has facilities for wedding parties, fundraisers, supper clubs, and more. 

Thier outsanding performance at the event earned the Vincent James Band on Material Culture's preferred vendor's list. Congratulations VJB!

The first thing I did after I got engaged was hire the Vincent James Band for our wedding. Hiring a good band was important to us and the VJB did not disappoint. They are even better than what you see and hear on their website. Our dance floor was filled from start to finish and we're still getting compliments on the VJB. Hi Charles,

This thanks is way overdue.  First of all thanks for being so professional from the moment I inquired about hiring VJB, to the day of my daughter's wedding. You were so helpful every step of the way. We hired you before even hearing the band, based on the extremely strong recommendation of the Lake House Inn.

Then, the day arrived, and the band was even better and stronger than the two times we had seen VJB perform during the course of the months leading up to the wedding. Every moment, from the moment the guests were arriving in the ballroom, to the last dance of the evening was magical thanks in great part to the perfect selection  and flawless and energetic performance of music chosen by the band.  I had just seen Earth Wind and Fire a month before the wedding, and hearing VJB perform 'September' totally blew me away, along with the entire crowd.  I'm not sure what my favorite moment of the night was, but the aria duet during the dinner hour brought tears and goosebumps and a standing ovation from the 220+ guests in the room. That one performance set the VJB apart from every band I have ever seen at any special event.  You have truly set the bar very high.

I would be remiss if I didn't also send a special thank you for letting me and my son perform two songs, I Saw Her Standing There and Some Kind of Wonderful, with the band. At each niece and nephew's wedding throughout the past decades I have always performed a song or two with the band, but never with a band of this caliber.  Thanks for making us feel so welcome on the stage and for backing us up so skillfully.

Since the wedding celebration, everyone we've spoken to has told us it was the best wedding they've ever attended in great part due to the band. You managed to keep the dance floor hopping for the entire evening, from the first note to the last resounding chord.

I look forward to being a guest at a wedding featuring the VJB so I can relive the fun and excitement you bring to the occasion.

The 13th annual Hogs and Honeys Foundation For Kids Charity Event on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 7 PM is already sold out! On Saturday, December 3rd VJB performed for over 200 guests overlooking the the magnificent Philadelphia skyline  at the prestigious "Top Of The Tower".  They had the crowd up and dancing at the Tewksbury/Bateman wedding reception. Just look at that view. Wow!

VJB performed at the reception of the classic wedding of Elizabeth and Michael Terroni at the elegant Greenville Country Club in Wilmington Delaware. Originally a home on the duPont estate, the country club is on a hill surrounded by trees.The bride and groom were thrilled with there choice of venue and of course the Vincent James Band's performance which took place on country club's the brick patio, covered by a tent overhang.
