The day started out rainy and chilly, but it cleared up in time to give everyone a break. The photos below tell the story of a bride and groom who knew that their reception was in good hands. The Vincent James Band will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Working with the band was nothing but a pleasure. I fondly remember the first phone call my then fiancé had with Charles answering every possible question we had in regards to planning our wedding. Soon after there was a very informal visit to hear the band play at a country club performance affirming we’d made THE best decision for our dream reception at the Union League of Philadelphia. Fast forward to just a week before the big day to an hour long phone call on speaker phone with Charles yet again putting our minds at ease, assuring us every detail would be put in place. It was all that and so much more. (I’m filling up with tears just writing this.) The VJB turned a rainy, cool November night at the #1 city club in America into a night 200 plus people will never forget. From introductions, to the two song dance set, (hey bride and grooms DO THIS! We have Charles to thank for it!) to a night of laughter and love surrounded by the best live music I’ve heard in a long time. Brides, grooms, parents, look no further, the Vincent James Band will soon hold a very special place in your hearts too.
